Our History

AFE was formed in June 2005. We achieved profitability in our first month of trading and have continued to grow ever since.

There have been fibre optics businesses operating from our site in Witney, Oxfordshire since 1994. AFE is the evolution of these businesses and all the fibre optics expertise they held.

From products to solutions

We have always been able to draw on our rich fibre-optic history to build our core business of designing, assembling and aligning precision optical products. Building on this, we have developed the engineering expertise to design and manufacture larger integrated systems across our markets.
