The AFE single channel fibre optic rotary joint is adaptable to a wide range of rotary joint designs for various industrial and military applications.
The rotary design ensures a high performing rotary joint with superior insertion loss values of within 1.0 dB and rotational variation within +/-0.5dB. The design allows flexible adjustments of connector type, fibre type and fibre length, dependant on customer requirements. The housing is designed for extreme temperature applications from -40 °C … +85 °C.
In addition to the standard pigtail designs AFE can provide the rotary joint with F-SMA –f connection for direct fibre connectivity.
For single- and multimode applications. With these designs AFE are addressing industrial applications, demanding high lifetime paired with excellent insertion and rotary loss performance.
